Educational use only
MarketLens provides research, simulations, market observations, and evidence tools for education. It is not a broker, fiduciary, investment adviser, or source of personalized investment advice. Market data may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable.
Basic page counts
MarketLens counts page views using normalized public routes, coarse device class and timestamps. Each event has a deduplication ID that does not link separate visits. This mode creates no visitor or session cookies, uses no browser fingerprint, and does not measure unique people. No opening analytics prompt is needed to browse the site.
Device preferences
Settings stores your selected appearance and ambient-motion options in first-party functional cookies. These contain only your choices, not visitor or session identifiers.
Optional product analytics
You can explicitly enable optional analytics in Settings → Privacy. This adds first-party visitor and session cookies, bounded engagement, acquisition tokens, referrer hostnames and evidence-workflow actions. The analytics database stores HMAC hashes of the opaque cookie IDs, not their raw values. These records are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Our retention target for raw analytics is 90 days.
What analytics exclude
Neither mode records names, email addresses, account IDs, financial inputs, full external URLs, search text, article bodies, prompts, raw IP addresses or browser fingerprints in the analytics database. Hosting providers process network requests separately to deliver and secure the site.
Your controls
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals disable both modes. You can also turn all analytics off through the footer Settings menu. MarketLens remains usable when analytics are disabled.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with availability, automate abusive requests, or present MarketLens research as guaranteed fact or financial advice.
No warranties
The service is provided as available without guarantees of accuracy, uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or investment outcome. You remain responsible for independent verification and decisions.
